CISVA TEAM practices will now run M, T, W, Th and Fri 3-3:30pm (Weather permitting)



Thank you for participating in CCS Track and Field Practices and Events this season.  

Track Practices will now run Monday to Friday for “Selected” Grade 3-7 athletes.  If you have been selected to train for a specific event at the CISVA Track Meet Wednesday, May 31st and/or June 7th you will train for your event using the below program.  Talk to a track coach if you have any questions.

Event
You need to…

1500m, 800m or 600m
Attend 3 Power Runner Sessions at Lunchtime
(M, T, W Th and Fri See Coach Durante or Fonseca)
Long Jump
4 times each week Jump at CCS from 3-3:30pm
Shot Put or Discus
4 times each week Throw at CCS from 3-3:30pm
50 push-ups and three 30 second planks each day
High Jump
2 times each week Jump at CCS Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-3:45pm
Sprints or Relays
60m 100m 200m 400m
4-5 times each week run at CCS from 3-3:30pm
